the Ellerston cattle are always a pleasure to handle in both paddock and yards, and these heifers are no exception . it is a credit to the management and staff for the extra effort taken when handling their stock.

83 x 83 first calf heifers and calves. these heifers are vendor bred from the Ellerston Angus and Black Baldy cow herd and sired by the Door Key Wagyu sires.These heifers are spring 18 drop and have their first calf at foot which is sired by Wagyu and Angus sires . cows have been running back with angus and Wagyu sires since the calves were marked on the 20th of April.
there are 38 heifer calves and 45 steer calves at foot. there are 66 calves with a black coat and 17 Black Baldy calves
Please note there is the odd calf that was treated for pink eye at calf marking (20/4/21)
Also there is the odd blue cloud in cows eyes, however not deemed detrimental .
