Assessor Comments
28 of the lead draft of PTIC Droughtmaster cross heifers weighing 402kg empty at assessment. These heifers are preg tested from 2.5-6 months in calf to ‘Wandoo’ and ‘Twynam’ Angus Bulls. They were purchased off ‘Waco’ Santa’s ‘Mungallala QLD in early Febuary and have grown well on native feed since arriving. These heifers were good to assess and out in the big holding yards who behaved well for photos and were calm and relaxed. They do have the ability to become agitated when put under pressure in smaller yards or if they were not handled correctly. Vendor says that they are good to handle in the paddock and have been educated with motor bikes. These heifers are good types with plenty of body about them and will throw an Angus cross calf, ideal for our market. Buyers note: Vendor has two decks of the second draft of heifers in the sale also.
