Assessor Comments
21 PTIC Shorthorn cows 2 to 5 years of age, PTIC to Moogenilla Angus bulls and Royalla/Yamburgan Shorthorn bulls, 4 to 7 months in calf. This is the second draft of Shorthorn cows from this consignment drafted on frame. These cows are renowned for being powerful, fertile cows, with wide pins and easy doing ability. They have had calves weaned off them a month ago and are cleaning up in the bag and gaining weight since being given the opportunity on lucerne and rye grass. This is a good opportunity to purchase young to middle age cows in the prime of their lives with all of the hard work done. Age break up: 16 x 2019, 1 x 2018, 3 x 2017, 1 x 2016. Colour breakup of cows: 7 x roan, 14 x red. Buyers note: There is another line of Shorthorn cows in this same sale, and two lines of Shorthorn Angus cows PTIC to Angus and Shorthorn bulls.
