Heifers were a touch nervy and flighty in the yards when pushing up, and holding paddock when taking photos. Despite having a bigger flight zone in larger areas, they were good to handle in the force and all moved up the race without fuss, and stood sensibly on the scales. Just needing a bit more handling, and a bit of hand feeding in the larger areas.

Offered on account of renowned North East Victorian Hereford producers, J & T Wright. These heifers were originally part of the ‘keeper’ heifer draft, only being offered for sale now due to the tightening of feed and the decision to reduce some numbers rather than buying in fodder. These are large framed females that have been given sufficient time to grow out before joining. Preg tested in calf to Tarcombe & Mawarra Hereford sires, selected for ease of calving and low birth weight. Out of a large framed herd of Hereford Cows with a reputation for producing big growthy steers with excellent weight for age figures.
