Cattle flowed well though out the yards, pound and race. All cattle were moved with minimal pressure. A couple of heifers became agitated in the pound and crush when singled out but settled quickly upon returning to the main mob. Theses heifers will be worked with horses daily until delivery.

Buyers, an opportunity to purchase a small line of well bred Droughtmaster heifers with over 15 years of leading GLENLANDS GENETICS. These females show adequate bone, confirmation and femininity and are well handled with horses and bikes. This line of females weighed between 281kg to 412kg and will have a delivery weight of 337kg. All females were mouthed at assessment and 100% present with Milk teeth. Born and bred on forest country these females will forge ahead in any location. The L4 cow herd is culled heavily on fertility with cows having to bring a weaner to the yard every year to be retained in the herd, so fertility and mothering ability is assured in this lot. They were pretreated at assessment with Acatak Pour On to assist tick free buyers with tick clearing protocols.
