Some of the Heifers were agitated being handled in crush, they settled once back in the group with their sisters. They are very well educated and were great to handle thru the yards. Electric fence trained.

Assessor Comments
Good line of weaned heifer calves. Vendors have been breeding a self replacing Grey herd for many years aiming for earlier maturing cattle, focusing on desirable carcass traits. The emphasis on 600 day weight and fat/Marbling traits mean they perform well on a pasture based system & generally grade very well at slaughter. Expect them to do extremely well on good feed, grow into top quality, heavy trade heifers. The heifers have enough depth of breeding to go on as breeders, given time, if desired *note a couple of heifers have old pink eye scars, does not appear to affect vision
