Some of the Heifers were agitated being handled in crush. Settled once back with mob and were good to handle in yards, a few were a little frightened , I expect with more handling they will settle.

Lovely line of well bred heifers. Vendors have been breeding a self replacing Grey herd for many years aiming for earlier maturing cattle, focusing on desirable carcass traits. The emphasis on 600 day weight and fat/Marbling traits mean the cattle perform well on a pasture based system & grade very well at slaughter These heifers are cleaning up in the coat and moving forward after a wet and prolonged Winter. I expect them to quickly reach joining weights and be very handy future breeders or quality heavy trade heifers
