Littleman River joined Team Te Mania in 2023 with foundation females sourced from some of the best herds in the program (Boona, Lakala & Wellington Lodge). For the past 4 years there has been extensive use of AI across both cows and heifers to fast-track genetic gain. A large proportion of these heifers are by AI sires Te Mania Legend (approx. 70%) & Te Mania Nolan (approx. 15%) and are all in calf to calving ease sire TE MANIA TACOME T28 - please see attached sire link. These heifers are being sold due to conceiving in the last cycle of the joining period, expected to commence calving mid-September over a tight 3-4 weeks. The temperament of these females is a real standout feature, all beautifully quiet and a pleasure to work with, coming with our highest recommendation. See photo of heifer with birthmark on shoulder.
