Buyers on offer are 121 heifers that are light weight, soft and consist of both medium and large framed heifers. Of these 121 heifers 34% are Charolais, 11% Charolais cross, 9% Angus, 5% Angus cross, 7% Brangus, 3% Droughtmaster cross, 4% Santa cross and 2% being Speckled Park. These heifers have been weaned for four weeks and have been on hay in the yards since the beginning of weaning. At assessment the heifers flowed through the yards and race well. If you are in the market for backgrounder heifers look no further. These low weight, large framed heifers will suit those with an abundance of feed or oats.
