Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These steers were generally easy enough to work with in the yard & handle at assessment - It was noted that 2 did become slightly stirry/nervous/agitated when isolated in the race/crush during weighing, not considered detrimental as both settled down ok once let back into the yard with the other cattle/back out into the paddock with the cows - It is the assessors opinion that if purchased & handled properly/yard weaned post delivery, these steers will settle down well with a sound temperament

Assessor Comments
A neatly presented line of 5 Angus Steer Calves, Vendor Bred, Rising 9-10 Months, October 2020 Spring drop, ‘LLandarlo’ Blood - Well grown, presenting in fresh forward store condition with good frame & shape - Unweaned - Grass Fed/No Antibiotics, a signed PCAS non-certified declaration is available upon upon buyer request - Suitable to purchase to target a grass or grain fed fattening program or to take out to heavy feeder weights - Alternatively, these steer calves are still running with the cows & getting milk, all displaying some forward bloom/sappiness & may suit a select butcher order subject to required specifications - Purchase with confidence as this is well presented pen of unweaned Angus Steer calves with very sound weight for age, they should continue go forward after weaning coming into the spring & grow out into very good heavy feeders or kill steers/bullocks given good feed/favourable seasonal conditions - NOTE Lot size/number may suit an experienced hobby farm operation
