17 well educated xbred steers purchased as cow calf units weighing 232-319kg to average 276kg at assessment. They were purchased as Droughtmaster x Shorthorn calves with a couple having a touch of Charolais through them, The steers came out of the south east (SA) with the cows being northern bred cattle. They are growing quite well having started on a starter ration with adlib oaten hay in the paddock. The vendor has got these cattle well educated and they are a please to handle through the yards and easy to walk through in the paddock.
