Temperament is a credit to the vendor as they are fresh weaner’s these cattle behaved like they had done it 100 time before. There flowed through the yards, force, race & crush with minimal fuss. Two steers showed signs of stress when extreme pressure was placed on them in the race and crush.

BUYERS, AN OPPORTUNITY TO SECURE A TWO DECK LINE OF DROUGHTMASTER & DROUGHTMASTER CROSS STEERS THAT RARELY GET TO THE OPEN MARKET. THESE STEERS HAVE BEEN PURCHASED BY THE SAME PEOPLE FOR OVER TEN YEARS, BUT DUE TO OTHER COMMITMENTS ON THEIR BEHALF THEY BECOME AVAILABLE ON THE OPEN MARKET. THESE STEERS HAVE A SOLID REPUTATION FOR PERFORMANCE ON GRASS & GRAIN AND SHOW ADEQUATE BONE, SCALE & VOLUME. THESE STEERS HAD A LWR OF 185KG TO 326KG TO HAVE A DELIVERY WEIGHT OF 261KG. THE VENDOR HAS PRETREATED THESE STEERS TO ASSIST TICK FREE BUYERS IN THE CLEARANCE PROTOCOL. ONE STEER HAS COME OFF A FIRST CALF HEIFER THAT HAD BEEN DOING IT A BIT TOUGH AND HE PRESENTS A LITTLE MORE BACKWARD IN CONDITION THAN OTHERS.
