Steers are extremely quiet and handled very well around yards. 1 steer didn’t really enjoy being on scales platform (first time they’ve been weighed) but quickly calmed once out in main yards. Calves are handled by a senior lady generally on her own. I couldn’t put my hand on these calves but they didn’t mind me in their space.

Vendors annual draft if steer weaners, Charolais cross. These steers are just right to put on the oats & should go ahead given the opportunity. These steers are handled by the vendor who is a senior lady hence I have put them down as docile. Vendor has heifers in today’s sale.
