As to be expected, the weaners that had just been taken off, ran around in yards abit, however the longer weaned ones were generally good to handle through the yards. A handful stirred up in the crush but settled quickly once let out. They have been round yard drafted.

220 GQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Crossbred Weaner steers & mickies. These 5 decks of weaners are ideal to grow out into domestic feeder steers or for the live export markets. In the lot there is 185 steers and 35 mickies. Bred in Mt Isa Uplands Country, they will power ahead on better quality feed. At assessment the weaners weighed 135 -262 kg to average 197 kg & the mickies weighed 156 - 257 kg to average 202kg. They have good feet and the steers have all been well dehorned. They have been weaned over the past 2 weeks and some on the day of assessment. Most weaners that have been in hand for a few days have quietened down very well. They have not been educated outside of the yard. Steers are PCAS Eligible. These weaners are being offered dollars per head, guaranteed clear of the dip at the Cloncurry Saleyards. Vendor has another mob of heifers in the same sale. Rarely does an opportunity exist to purchase such a good line of 1 brand crossbred weaners at this low weight.

Cattle will be delivered to the Cloncurry Saleyards as soon as weather permits after sale. Purchaser will take delivery clear of dip and pay any associated costs after delivery. There was no visible tick at assessment
