Steers worked well through the yards at assessment and weighing. I would only think they have settled even more over the last week through the weaning process.

Approx. 160 VGQ No.2 Droughtmaster heifers. At assessment they weighed from 174-420kg to ave. 265kg. The have been bred out of VGQ Droughtmaster and DroughtmasterX cows using VGQ Droughtmaster bulls. These would be ideal heifers to feed or bred. The heifers have been removed from replacement herd based on colour patches and type. They have been yard weaned and tailed out daily and a ready to continue to grow in future breeders. The heifers have been in hand for up to two weeks and have been feed good oaten hay while in yards and fresh mitchell grass and seasonal herbages while being tailed out.
