Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Typical of most cattle bred in large pastoral operations, these heifers move freely through the yards but are handled by experienced personnel with ease. Some did get agitated when isolated for weighing, however appeared to settle again when let back into the mob. These heifers should continue to settle whilst in the yards on hay this week leading up to delivery, however will require further handling and education from the purchaser.

Assessor Comments
A good line of 3 decks of vendor bred Brahman heifers from a pastoral breeding operation. Out of medium framed Brahman cows sired by Raglan and Delta Grove bulls these heifers are ready to background for fattening or joining. 15% Red/Honey, 83% Grey and 2% Black Brahmans. Presenting in strong store condition and weighing 200-310kg (Av. 244kg) at assessment these heifers are all frame and no weight, boasting the potential for huge compensatory weight gains on good feed. Typical of most cattle bred in large pastoral operations, these heifers move freely through the yards but are handled by experienced personnel with ease. These heifers have performed well for backgrounders, live exporters and breeders over many years. Genuine sale as part of their annual turn off as well as the light wet season being experienced so far.

Vendor Comments
The lead of these heifers are first round 2021 with the remainder being the heaviest of second round 2021. Believe this line to be from 8 -14 months of age. Part of our annual turn off as a breeder operation, with plenty of frame to go on with.
Joining Details
Not Station Mated
Other Joining Details
Heifers are not intentionally joined. It would be assumed that the heifers in this line are too light in condition to conceive.
