Typical North/Western station bred cattle that flowed well through the yards with minimal pressure needed, heifers have had experience up a race, including weaning and drafting the previous day. If they rush through the yards they can be blocked up very quickly. 10% did become agitated within the crush but once back with the mob they calm almost instantly.

Assessor Comments
34 Heifers are all vendor-bred from medium and large framed Brahman/Charbray X Cows by Palgrove Charolais, Charbray, Brahman or Angus Bulls. Presenting in store to forward store condition, these heifers are all frame and are ready to perform shown the right feed. Please note – the heifers were mustered on Sunday 4th Feb and had them in the yards drafting (via pound and race) on Monday and Tuesday, plus the assessment done Wednesday 7th Feb. This also includes an 8km walk and 14mm of rain, ** same process again on 12th Feb** . In the yards they were fed lightly with local Mitchell Grass hay, with most having access to water. The cattle have been boxed and returned to their paddock. As the vendor offers 2 lots in this sale, ideally a same-day delivery would be appreciated. They will be mustered and drafted the day prior to delivery – as the cattle have to run back together the final delivery may result in a very odd beast swap lots. If you have any questions please contact the assessor.
