Offering 142 backgrounder steers that averaged 265kg live at assessment. The steers are predominately Shorthorn Cross with an influence of Droughtmaster and Angus throughout. These steers were purchased from the Quilpie district in late August as weaners and are ready for a backgrounder to go onto good feed to power away. They should have a large compensatory gain for the purchaser due to them walking off their condition chasing green pick for the past few weeks.
