Weaners worked through draft well at assessment. Very quiet to handle through pound and big yards but did need steadying through race. Weaners were worked on a very hot day.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a line of 52 PCAS eligible Santa & Droughtmaster X weaner steers. This line is best described as medium to large frame and in store condition with plenty of compensatory gain to be had. Weaners were weaned in September 2023 and are just starting to go ahead after recent falls of rain. A nice, neat line of lightweight flatback red weaner steers that are ideal to put away on grass and grow out to heavier weights. Vendor also has 2 decks of heifers in the same sale. Odd animal noticed with some fly bites.
