Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers are handled by a husband and wife team who work hard on the quiet temperament of their cattle. This is displayed by the ease with which they were handled in the yards and in the crush. This could be attributed to being well educated at weaning time & rotational grazing practices.

Assessor Comments
Buyers an opportunity to purchase a good quality line of 24 steers that are best described as Angus/Angus cross types but are showing strong Angus characteristics. Steers stand on good bone, with good conformation and are known for their weight gain attributes. Vendor has put in the time and effort in breeding which can be seen in these steers. Steers were quiet and easy to handle through the yards and race. At assessment it was noted some steers had small warts around the eye area and one steer had warts on his ear, however this is not detrimental to their productivity. Four steers with either a partial white face or white on belly with the Angus /Droughtmaster cross types have a red fleck in their coats, and one which has more of a brindle colour. Steers still show some winter coats, and are very tidy around the head with very little horn. In all, these steers are a good quality line with the potential to develop further. They will not disappoint.
