Credit to the vendors, as these steers were excellent to handle through the yard and in the crush. Steers have a quiet temperament which could be attributed to being weaned well. The cattle are well handled as they are part of a rotational grazing program.

Vendor is offering a VGQ line of vendor bred Weaned Angus & Speckle Park cross steers, that present in store to forward store condition. They have had great start with an ideal summer grazing conditions, this can be seen in the photos and video's. Steers are very easily handled through the yards and the paddock. Steers have the reputation of being high performers on grass or grain.

He has stood out since a calf & we picked him to use in the stud late last year & early this year as we were so taken by him.His first calves are due in coming weeks. He has so much capacity, length, volume, extra bone & depth of flank for a mid frame score bull. Even though used on cows in the stud, he has come through as one of the heaviest bulls in the sale at over 1000kgs. Such an easy doing bull, he moves effortlessly regardless of his weight. He was a calf at foot when we purchased his dam at the Millah Murrah cow sale for $70,000 last year. She is now a donor cow in our herd. His sire is the $280,000 Millah Murrah Rocket man, so he is bred in the purple. He was one of the crowd favourites at Beef week at Rocky where we had him on display. He is very docile & a bit of a character with a strong sires head. He is an early maturing, positive fat bull that exhibits extreme thickness right through with a beautiful slick skin type, very tidy sheath & good scrotal development. Possibly could suit a Brangus stud breeding program we think to add some thickness & doing ability without losing the slick skin type. Top 20% 400 day growth & Top 5% & 15% for fats. DonÕt miss this good young bull.
