The majority of these heifers were very good to handle in the yards and through the draft. Two heifers are very free moving in the force yard, round yard & in the bigger yards. With the balance of the heifers becoming up set when isolated in the round yard. The slightly stirry & stirry heifers in the race was from being asked to wait on the platform. All settled back down when let back out in the mob.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a neat little mob of heifers to take home & background to feeder weights or to grow out to heavier kill weights. With some being suitable for future breeders. The majority of these heifers have been classed out due to being later drops in the draft, plainer types & temperament. The Stratford cattle are noted performers on grass and grain off the lighter country North of Blackall. The horned heifers in the mob are only young growth horns that have grown since weaning. Heifers that should go forward on good feed. All the hard work has been done. Same vendor has 31 steers in the same sale.
