Steers were good to handle through the yards, the odd steer stirred up under pressure in the crush, however, calmed down once released.

Approx. 204 (6 decks) of Very Good Quality Droughtmaster steers. These steers have been bred out of medium and large framed Droughtmaster & DroughtmasterX cows and are sired by good quality Droughtmaster bulls. The vendor has been using Eddington & Crown M Droughtmaster Bulls for many years. At assessment 50% of the steers weighed 251 – 378kg to average 315 kg after being on water and fed good quality hay in the yards overnight. The steers were good to handle through the yards and have good bone & frame to grow into a heavy feeder or grass fed bullocks. At assessment 20 steers were mouthed and 19 steers presented milk teeth and 1 presented 2 teeth. Majority of the steers are branded No'1 with a small percentage branded No'0 & No'2. Please note there is one steers that has a hernia, discount to be negotiated at delivery.
