Assessor Comments
A good to very good quality line of soft crossbred heifers. They have been yard weaned in three different weanings from early 2022 through to the 12/04/22. They are medium to large frame and suit to take through to heavy domestic feeder weights. Alternatively the top 30% would suit to take and join and should make excellent quality future breeders. They are a mix of heifers born on the vendors properties or which have come as cows and calf units during 2021 as they restocked after the drought. One heifers were noted with moderate blue eye scarring in both eyes and two other heifers with slight blue eye scarring in one eye. One heifer had healing pink eye which will mostly settle to a blue eye spot. The heifers will be rechecked for active pink eye prior to loading. a small amount of active buffalo fly was noted on the heifers. These heifers have been raised in a cell grazing operation and are familiar with electric fences. Ideal heifers to put on an oats crop.
