Steers handled pretty well through yards considering they have had limited handling since purchasing. If worked quietly, given room and time steers responded well to pressure and could be handled easily.

Assessor Comments
2 decks of fair to good quality brahman and brahman cross, northern bred steers on offer weighing 334kg after a big curfew. Vendor has a further 96 lighter steers in the same sale which are all the same brand to make a neat 5 deck load of steers purchased as one run, one brand. These steers are all frame and carry no excess weight and would be expected to pile on the weight on crop or good quality pasture to take through to heavy feeders or fatten to kill especially by treating them with a HGP . This mob includes an entire (mickey), 1 steer has an undershot jaw, 1 steer has a slightly twisted nose and 2 steers are slightly thick headed in appearance. (1 of which is thought to be a stag.)
