Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These steers have had a minimal amount of handling since purchasing and easy enough to handle for experienced stockman. There was nothing assessed as aggressive, 1 steer remained stirry even when back in the mob and 15 as slightly stirry which were quick through the yards, had a large flight zone and were prone to panic if not given somewhere to go.

Assessor Comments
3 decks of fair to good quality brahman and brahman cross, northern bred steers on offer weighing 282kg after a big curfew. Vendor has a further 62 heavier steers in the same sale which are all the same brand to make a neat 5 deck load of steers purchased as one run, one brand. These steers have plenty of frame and present in store condition would be expected to pile on the weight on crop or good quality pasture to take through to heavy feeders or fatten to kill. Potential big gains to be had by treating them with a HGP and putting on crop/improved pasture. This mob includes 3 brindles, 1 steer has a slight undershot jaw, 1 loppy ear (photo) , 5 flat back steers that contain little or no tropical breed content , and 2 entires (mickeys)
