Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Like a lot of Brahman cattle from large properties in the North these cattle can become agitated when under pressure - It needs to be remembered that 94% of these are entire males yet still handled very well. They were relatively quiet in the crush, however the majority exited rapidly. Once back in the mob they settled quickly. No issues handling them on foot in the yards and force areas.

Assessor Comments
An opportunity to access the value that bulls hold in the live export trade or perhaps castrate and run out as steers. Calton Hills cattle have a history of performing very well when tucked away on good nutrition and I would expect no less from this consignment. They are healthy, fresh and have adjusted to feeding very well. They have also responded well to more intense handling. There were 8 brindles and one black mickey with a skin blemish (photo included) from a rail knock and not insect in my opinion. Of the more crossbred types identified they have still thrown towards the Brahman side albeit with some less hump and a little hair in some instances. I think the photos and videos are a fair representation of the mob. These cattle originate from **Tick Free Country** however where they are on feed in in the tick zone therefore have been pre-treated with Moxilab that has a window of expiry 27th May. Clearing remains the responsibility of the purchaser and no guarantee is offered.
