THESE HEIFERS WITH CAME IN WITH THE COWS, NO PROBLEMS. THEY HAVE HAD LIMITED HANDLING. APPROX 6 HEAD STIRRED UP IN THE CRUSH AT ASSESSMENT. OVERALL THEY HANDLE WELL THROUGH THE YARDS, EVEN WHEN PRESSURED NONE BECAME AGGRESSIVE. THEY HAVE A TROT AND FOLLOW ATTITUDE IN THE BIG YARDS BUT STAND AND SETTLE IN THE SMALLER YARDS. WOULD BENEFIT FROM MORE HANDLING.

ATTRACTIVE LINE OF SANTA AND SANTA CROSS HEIFERS, SHOWING QUALITY AND BREEDING. BRED FROM BIG FRAME COWS. SHOWING GOOD COLOUR AND COAT. VENDOR HAS TWO LOTS OF STEERS IN SAME SALE, SHOWING CONSISTENT QUALITY. THEY WERE WEANED MONDAY 20TH AND WILL BE KEPT ON HAY IN YARDS UNTIL DELIVERY. THE YOUNGEST OF THESE HEIFERS WERE STILL GETTING MILK, AND WILL OBVIOUSLY LOOSE SOME BLOOM UP UNTIL DELIVERY. OFFERING THE BUYERS THE OPTION TO GROW OUT FOR FEEDER WEIGHT CATTLE OR RETAIN FOR BREEDING PURPOSES.
