All steers were a pleasure to handle through the crush and yards. A percentage of steers become slightly agitated in crush however when released they soon returned to a calm state. Typical of pastoral bred cattle in that they are fairly free flowing through yards. Please view Videos for full satisfaction.

Assessor Comments
Buyers on offer are an excellent run of flatback steers. These steers were originally bought as Cows & Calves from the renowned AJM Pastoral cow herd. The steers have been running on Oats since weaning and have done very well in that time. The steers would be ideal to take on an grow out to suit the heavy feeder market. They would also be excellent steers to return to the grass to grow out to Bullocks. They are all very suitable flatback steers with only a small number showing slightly more Charbray content. Please note 1 steer had some minor blight and was treated at assessment. These steers have plenty of frame and scope and will grow out to be an excellent line of heavy cattle.
