Assessor Comments
A high grade line of good quality Brahman yearling heifers, that will perform on pasture or restocking. All the hard work is completed from processing, weaning handling & adapting to pasture. 4 months since weaning. Whilst the heifers are in strong store condition there is ample compensatory growth to be achieved if moved to quality fattening pasture. All #1 with 16 x #0. Sample mouthed where all milk tooth. Over 40 years of brahman genetics from the "Hacon family" mostly vendor bred Brahman herd at Julia Creek. Bred from a large herd of quality brahman cows producing medium frame heifers, well muscled with strong bone, length & confirmation. Colour 18% Red & 10% honey, 2% brown, 4% black/brindle/other & 66% grey. 3 brands in lot, with some cross brands. 1 with slight dog stratch, 1 twisted nose, 2 no brush on tail. Generally good Quiet temperament, however the brahman flight zone needs to be respected as they are responsive to pressure
