The steers are generally good to handle in and throughout the yards, they required steadying through gates as normal, 15 were quick off the scales through the side gate & agitated if cornered however if handled quietly respond in kind. Very quiet when walking through the yard for photos showing normal flight zone.

Good quality Santa & Santa cross steers from a large frame herd of quality Santa & Santa x cows.The Mt Cornish herd are noted performing cattle having infused top quality Santa genetics over large frame quality Shorthorn cows over many years targeting the feeder and weaner market. Two family brands. 39 steers branded #0 , 68 steers branded #1 with a small number being late 0’s branded & castrated this year of which 11 steers show very moderate secondary characteristics. 4 steers with heavy late cut horn clean to the head. 2 steers with light ringworm.
