These yearling heifers were good to handle through the yards, some became slightly stirry in the crush but settled quickly in bigger yard. A few heifers were a little agitated in the bigger yards but calmed quickly when pressure was released.

Assessor Comments
A very nice line of yearling heifers that present evenly throughout. Good quality Angus, Shorthorn and Droughtmaster bulls have been used by 'Baroona' over the years and these young heifers show good structure and bone development from that. Buyers have a range of options for these heifers. Five heifers were purchased from a neighbour in this lot and exhibit similar qualities to the vendor bred heifers. Heifers have been well educated and it shows when handling in the yards. These heifers are surplus to the vendors requirements. Three heifers were noted to have slight ringworm scarring around eyes and mouth. all bigger cattle were mouthed & were found to be milk tooth, the Vendor has 54 simuliar weight steers in the same sale to make up a light B Double
