These steers were a pleasure to handle through all areas of the yards. A small percentage of steers did get slightly agitated in the crush, this was due to being given the Dectomax Injectable at the same time which is quite normal but settled quickly once back in the mob.

Buyers please see the opportunity to purchase 4.5 decks of good quality well handled Droughtmaster & Droughtmaster X EU, Teys Grassland accredited and PCAS eligible HGP free weaner steers. These steers stand on good bone and have plenty of frame and given the opportunity they will go ahead on either grass or crop. These steers would be ideal to background for the feeder market or grow out to bullocks. These are in a tick area but are guaranteed to clean country with the only stipulation that interstate buyers pay cost of plunge dip at the clearing dip. If you are confused in any way please call assessor for further clarification on dipping protocols. Buyers a percentage of steers developed a reaction to the 3 germ blood vaccination, this is believed to be because they were vaccinated during the rain as the blood was going to expire. 12 of these steers look to old infections that the scabs have not fully healed yet but is determined to be not detrimental (see last photo).
