These are typical freshly weaned heifers that are basically straight off the cow. As a result they have had very limited handling or education to date and this shows. They did tend to travel very quickly in all aspects of the yards and tend to gallop around when under pressure. These are expected to settle prior to delivery as they will have further handing through the yards and will be tailed out. There were not any heifers in the line that are anywhere near aggressive though.

Assessor Comments
A small line of EU ACCREDITED weaner heifers that demonstrate good traits such as growth and bone. Heifers presented in mostly excellent condition being straight off the cows. These would suit to take on to domestic feedlot entry weights on crop or improved pasture. Would advise buyers to ensure heifers have responded to weaning protocols once they arrive and would recommend they are given adequate opportunity to settle down to their new environment. There were a line of heifers in this lot that were retained as replacement breeders so these are surplus to requirements. Please note there are also the steer portion of these being offered in the sale that can be used to fill a neat 2 deck unit if required.
