Assessor Comments
A good to very good quality line of young weaner heifers. The heifers are a mix of soft crossbreds and are medium to large frame. They had been yard weaned for the week prior to assessment. They have been trained to hay racks, worked in and through the yards and tailed out during the weaning process. From assessment until delivery they have been returned to a paddock with their weaned brothers. They were very good to handle in the yards. They have been run in a cell grazing operation on "Glenlovely". They are used to moving upto four times per week and are trained to single wire electric fences. One heifer noted with rub marks on her neck. The vendor has his own truck and has offered free delivery within 200km of Yelarbon on his truck (NSW would be dependent on getting border passes). Please contact the agent for more details. A good quality line of soft crossbred heifers that will grow out for a range of markets.
