A very good draft of 87 vendor bred Angus steers presenting in forward store condition. These steers have been weaned since the 11th of may and have grown plenty of frame and will realise a huge amount of compensatory gain with some warmer weather and the spring flush. A draft of steers that were a pleasure to handle. Good Angus genetics have been used in this herd with bulls being purchased from Eaglehawke, Wattletop and seaforth angus studs. please note that there was 3 steers observed to have a slight brown tinge in their coat which is the winter coat coming out of steers cleaning up in the warmer weather.
