Buyers please see an opportunity to purchase 4 decks of HGP free crossbred steers that you can buy with confidence knowing they have all been bunk trained as weaners on a silage ration. These steers come backed with a reputation of exceptional feedlot performance and are highly sort after by previous buyers. They would be best described as store condition steers with plenty of frame, typical of steers at this time of year. These steers are all vendor bred with the exception of one bought steer. These steers are backed by some of the best genetics in the country including Meldon Park, Woonallee, Eastern Plains, Rockley and Yoman bull to name a few. They're bred out of a crossbred cow herd that consistently dress over 330kgs. Buyers please note there is one steer with old blight scarring in one eye and one with a small amount of warts on his head, neither were thought to be detrimental at assessment and can be seen in the photos but will be pulled out at delivery if they have got worse.

Simmental genetics are sourced from Meldon Park and Woonallee, Angus bulls have come from Eastern Plains and Brahman bulls are from Rockley and Yoman

Steers have been running on frosted Buffel and Leucaena.

These steers are part of our annual turn off of feeders. These steers were all bunk trained as weaners so the successful purchaser should expect no issues getting these steers to come onto feed.
