Heifers behaved very well through yards. Only a couple stirred up slightly in crush but settled well once returned to mob. Considering first time back in yards since weaning it is a testament to the Wansey herds temperament

Buyers here is an opportunity to secure a VGQ line of Vendor bred weaned heifers, with some big compensatory gains to be had after a big curfew and very dry year living on dry grass and M8U since weaning. Heifers showing good bone, depth and length and the majority would be an asset to most breeder herds. Bred from Large framed Hereford , Hereford /Santa and Beefmaster cross cows by Santa and Euro Bulls, these heifers are highly sought after by repeat feedlot buyers when normally sold at heavier weights and are proven performers on Grass or grain. Heifers are ideally suited to join to a bull of your choice, take through to Lucrative Pasture Fed programs having never had antibiotics or grain or alternatively they are perfect to background for feedlot entry for the Domestic feeder market Mob consists of 75 % Wansey Homebred and 25 % out of Beefmaster cows purchased 2 years ago. Please note few heifers observed with horns were only small weaner horn, and 3 with slight blue spot 1 eye.
