Weaners worked through draft well at assessment. Very quiet to handle through pound and big yards but did need steadying through race. Weaners will be run through draft a couple more times prior to delivery.

Buyers a 2 x deck line of good quality PCAS eligible Droughtmaster X mixed sex weaners. This lot comprises of 38 x steers & 49 x heifers that are best described as medium to large frame relative to age and in fresh to store condition. Weaners are currently getting weaned in yards on hay but had a good curfew at assessment. A nice neat line of lightweight flatback red weaners that are ideal to put away on grass to heavier weights. At assessment noticed the odd weaner that had some old ring worm scarring. This line does have 5 x head that were weaned in May the balance all being weaned currently and will be fully weaned at delivery.

Weaners have done very well with majority having come off first calf heifers. Cattle are very quiet to handle due to limited handling. Will continue to educate weaners till delivery.
