Assessor Comments
Buyers, on offer are a good quality line of 79 Yearling Hereford steers for your consideration. Steers would make suitable trade weight feeders that would suit all domestic markets offering compensatory weight gains on grass, crop or grain. Steers could also be grown out to heavier feeder weights and are recently hitting high gains due to a dry start to summer but have now had access to fresh feed for three weeks. Please note, steers carried light buffalo fly at assessment, two steers presented with active blight at assessment. One steer also was born with no tail but is not detrimental to his health. The Bailey Hereford cattle are well known through saleyards and feedlots in southern Queensland and are not to be overlooked. Please see photos and video for further satisfaction.
