These weaners have come straight off their mothers after being mustered out of flood water and timber country the day before assessment. Given this the weaners were easy to handle through yards and race with no issues. A hand full after being handled a few times stirred up. Between assessment and delivery they will be yard weaned, handled and tailed out each day. This should see these cattle arrive to purchaser well handled ready to work with ease.

Assessor Comments
A quality line of mostly red, flat back type calves with plenty of room to grow out. Originally bred in the north from core breeder herds this line of heifers have the quality of breeding and the right start in life to suit most northern and southern markets both as breeders or to trade. These heifers are straight off their mothers and will be handled and weaned before delivery ready to go out and perform. *Note* Given that weaning took place the day before assessment an extra 2% has been allowed in curfew weight on assessment for buyer confidence.
