The steers were good to handle. They were very quiet and settled and worked through the crush well in a good set of steel yards.

A line of weaned Angus steers which are a mix of steers born on the vendors property and steer calves from purchased Cow Calf units purchased to build breeding numbers post drought.
The vendor has carefully selected females to go back into the herd as they have historically run a F1 operation.
Full break up of the 93 below.
• 23 Hd purchased as Cows and Calves, October 2020, from Chatsworth House Pastoral Co, Chatsworth Vic. Te Mania and Pathfinder Angus Bloodlines.
• 20 hd purchased as Cows and Calves, October 2020, from Ardgarten Pastoral Co, Branxholme VIC, Team Te Mania Herd.
• 54 hd born on property, from cows purchased from Dunkeld final herd dispersal, Victoria in April 2020. Herd based on Delegate Station and Sparta Stud dispersals. Calves sired be Coolana Stud Bulls, VCCL753, VCCL152. Both bulls showing EBV’s of 105+ for 600day wt, and 2.5+ for IMF%
One steer was treated for pink eye at assessment, another 2 had old healed blemishes in one eye.
