Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
While a significant number of cattle are in Score 1 condition they are strong, healthy and improving. I don't anticipate any transport issues if good practice used for long distance.

Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These cattle handle very well. Like most cattle in our region some can become agitated under pressure or in the crush, we noted 5. Once exiting the crush they very quickly settled with the mob with the exception of one heifer that remained agitated for some time.

Assessor Comments
A very quiet line of heifers ready to steam ahead if given the feed opportunity. Attention to breeding was evident even in the more lighter condition cattle. Radically weaned in 2023 due to poor season and ready to get on the move now. The vendor prides themselves in the tight calving pattern with a very big focus on fertility in the herd. If chosen to go on as breeders, their fertility should shine through. While in ticky country the cattle presented without any heavy tick burden. * Note skin blemishes noted in the comments appear to be dried and healing ringworm, one dog bite hfr across back photos are included to illustrate that. In general I have described them as store and backward store, however they are in good health, I feel confident they will respond well to feed. Greentop is a coastal property therefore like most in the region they have access and exposure to Lantana and a reputation of high performance when shown good feed. ** 3 Lots today from this Vendor 5 decks total.

Vendor Comments
Initially bred for replacement heifers, they have changed focus from breeders. They are proud of how quietly their cattle handle the ability to process with minimal staff and fuss. Very pleased with their progress after such radical weaning.
