Buyers these steers were a pleasure to draft, assess and handle. The vendor puts extensive time and effort educating their cattle at weaning. Only a small handful of steers were quick through the pound when drafting under pressure but all were very safe to handle with ease. Approx 2/3 of the steers were unsettled in the crush when being caught to be pre treated etc which is understandable. The vendors cattle are renowned for being well educated and of quiet temperament in and out of the yards.

Assessor Comments
Buyers please consider this quality 3 deck line of 90 EU & Grasslands accredited Brangus steers. Weighing from 295 - 493 kgs to average 372 kgs after an overnight dry curfew or 363 kgs estimated at delivery. A very attractive line of steers showing good weight for age, frame and very quiet temperament. Steers that are Ideally suited to finish on grass or crop for the EU or Teys Grasslands markets. The "Moola" steers are renowned for their performance and are possibly some of the quietest steers I've ever handled. Buyers please refer to my photos and videos as part of my description. Please note 9 steers have some white markings and 6 steers show slight red/brindle tinge in their coats, with both traits common for the breed. Steers have been pre treated for ease of movement, for tick free buyers only the vendor will guarantee the steers clear of tick at the nearest clearing dip with delivery remaining on farm. Your inspection of these steers is highly recommended and appreciated.
