Temperament not assessed in Paddock
A well handled mob of weaner steers worked well through yards. Only 2 head became agitated in the crush when being weighed but settled once released. The steers were very quiet when being photographed and videoed. They are easy to move around the yards and have responded well to the weaning process and settled down very well. There is no bellowing and they are very content eating hay in the yards. I would still advise purchasers to allow these time to settle on arrival before being bushed.

Assessor Comments
Buyers here is a great line of soft young steers that show excellent weight for age. These could quite possibly be the younger end of the drop so in all likelihood 7-8 months as against 7-10 months. They are growing out very well and possess great carcass traits with depth of barrel, bone and muscling very evident in the photos and video. These have not had a set back at any stage of the life as the seasonal conditions have been great in the area since birth. They are very clear in the eye and clean in the muzzle so they are obviously very healthy. These steers will suit a backgrounding operation to take through to heavy export feedlot entry weights or to grow out to bullock weights on grass or crop. There are two lots offered from this property in the sale to fill a B-Double. As mentioned they are calendar year branded thus branded No2's.
