Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Like most northern bred Brahmans these cattle tend to get excited under pressure but found easy to handle through race and crush. Most trotted out from the crush but soon settled once back with mob. Odd steer was very agitated in crush but none showed aggression.

Assessor Comments
These steers have been in the yards for an extended period of time in very warm conditions running with at least 700 other cattle before assessment. Expect they would not have had full access to an abundance of feed and water during that time due mainly to the large numbers in the yard. Now that they have been thinned out into a separate yard, I would envisage a positive weight adjustment of about +3% on delivery from assessed weights. Found to be a good line of yearling steers that will bound ahead on better feed and conditions with plenty of compensatory weight gain. Steers have very clean and tidy heads and present in strong store to forward store condition. Majority are greys with small number of reds, honeys, and darker colours. Vendor will guarantee that the steers will scratch clean if going into tick free areas. Scratch and associated costs will be at the purchasers expense however if they fail the scratch vendor will pay for all clearing charges.
