They are very good to handle through the yards. There were a couple that were agitated in the crush but settled down once let out.

51 VGQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Crossbred Steers & Mickies. There are 48 Steers & 3 Mickies. Majority Exhibit Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their breed and age. Ideal Cattle to grow out to Feeder or Slaughter Weights suitable for Export & Domestic Markets. They have good feet, are very quiet & majority are tidy around the head. 48 Steers were weaned from their mothers 1 month ago & have lost all associated bloom. They will have very good compensatory weight gain if given access to good feed. The remaining 3 Mickies are freshly weaned. There are 2 Brindle Steers & 1 Steer with a Slight Hump. 1 Steer is a bit woodier than the rest but is healthy & will travel fine. There are 2 Steers with cricket ball sized lumps in their Navels. Vendor has another deck of Heifers in the same sale. The Grove has Prickly Acacia in seed, however Steers have been fed in yards since assessment, so should not pass any viable seed onto purchasers property.
