These steers were good to handle & draft through the yards. A few steers were a little upset about being isolated in the pound. Steers that were slightly stirry and stirry in the was mainly from being isolated or asked to stand on the platform for too long, steers were very easy to move from yard to yard after being weighed and mouthed. Steers were good to walk through while taking photos.

Assessor Comments
Buyers this is an opportunity not to be missed to purchase a line of good quality feeder steers that wont disappoint. These steers are showing good growth & weight for age, stand on very good bone & have a good frame ready to put kilos on. These steers are from a renowned herd in Western QLD and have a reputation of being proven performers on grass & grain. These steers have put on an average of 0.78 of a KG since being put back in the paddock at the end of May. The Chandler Pastoral Herd has had a lot of emphasis placed on growth, weight for age & doing ability. Ideal steers to take on and finish on grass, crop or grain. Please note 2 steers with warts around eyes, 1 steer with excess skin under eye lid, 20 steers with fly bites or ringworm marks on their necks or around eyes. Not expected to be any issue.
