Steers handled well throughout the assessment process. Steers demonstrated good handling & a quite nature during the assessment. 2 steers became agitated in weigh station exiting with haste, 1 steer continued to be alert when united with mob. Steers showed a desire to trot when allowed typical of unweaned calves. Steers were comfortable in our presence in the back yards & holding paddock post assessment, being maneuvered on foot without issue for photos & videos.

19 Vendor bred - Good Quality Angus Steer weaners presenting in healthy fresh forwards condition. Steers are a complete drop.
Steers are currently unweaned and will remain on cow until delivery. Please note 3 older calves (9-10) months have already been weaned prior to assessment, receiving different animal health treatments including 7 in 1 vaccination 08/07/22 & Swish Backline 08/08/22. Weaned steers are notably drier in coat & plainer in condition indicative of the weaning process. Sale of steers represents an annual offering of spring drop weaners presenting an opportunity to purchase a quality line of Angus steer weaners bred from reputable bloodlines, suitable for either domestic, export or Angus specific long fed Feedlot markets. Steers are also eligible for Grass fed specific markets. Purchasers please note - Another 5 lots of similar description weaners are to be offered in same sale, being a family split of weaners from neighboring properties total offering of 145 weaners.
