Assessor Comments
An excellent line of Hereford feeder steers, achieving good weight gain on Lucerne and high quality native pasture. These steers were purchased as weaners in January from the Casterton and Hamilton Hereford weaner sales. The steers have an estimated delivery weight of 436.5kgs with a low weight of 430 and a high weight of 508 making a tight 78kg weight range. All steers in the mob are either dehorned(72 head), tipped or have scurrs. These cattle offer the opportunity to secure Hereford feeders that are already powering ahead.
